Content protection and anti-piracy are crucial for premium content especially live sports due to the high production and licensing costs. In order to protect these huge investments, rights holders need to ensure solid content security is an integral part of the strategy and operations. DRM, watermarking, monitoring and enforcement solutions need to be implemented to have both “the lock on the door” and the remedial solutions when the content does get stolen in order to be able to take down illegal streams quickly.
